Every Microsoft Dynamics GP user should visit the CustomerSource website regularly! It is your main source for self-help tools, product updates and downloads, news, support resources, and training information. You’ll also receive access to product forums and Knowledge Base for quick answers to your support questions. (Hint: This can cut down on support calls.)

How to sign in to CustomerSource:

Go to the CustomerSource sign-in page  and enter your Windows Live ID username and password to access the site. Simple.

How to request access to CustomerSource:

We know, it is not always that simple. So if this is your first time and you do not have access to your organization’s CustomerSource account, you need to complete the following steps:

1)    Ask your organization’s CustomerSource administrator to grant you access to the site. If you don’t know your CustomerSource admin or if your organization does not have a CustomerSource admin ask your Partner (CAL Business Solutions) or email itmbssup@microsoft.com for assistance.

If you need a new admin read: How To Change the Administrator For Your CustomerSource Account

2)    Remind Your Administrator How to Add New Users

It could be that your CustomerSource admin does not remember how to add new users. So send him or her this article: How to Add New Dynamics GP Users to CustomerSource. And since they are forgetful, perhaps they will make you an admin so you can add future users.

3)    Link your CustomerSource profile with a Windows Live ID.

Once your admin sets up your profile, you will receive an official email inviting you to join your organization’s CustomerSource account with instructions to link your CustomerSource profile with your Windows Live ID.

If necessary go to the Windows Live ID site to create a Windows Live ID.  But you may already have a Windows Live ID. Don’t set up a new one unless you have to as duplicate accounts can get confusing.

Now you are ready to Sign in to CustomerSource.

Still can’t sign in to CustomerSource?

CustomerSource is a benefit for customers who pay the annual maintenance plan fees to Microsoft. So if you suddenly lost access, check with your Partner to make sure your service plan has not lapsed.
