What I like about Acumatica is that if you put the info in, you can get it out. And the new parameters feature makes it even easier.
These new parameters, or filters, now in Acumatica can actually shrink the number of dashboards that you need.
In the past, I once worked with a sales manager that wanted to look at sales data for 20 people. But the main sales dashboard, without any parameters, would show everyone’s stuff. The manager could not use the @ME dashboard because that is only looking at his data.
We had to create 20 separate dashboards, one for each person.
Now, in Acumatica, by setting up parameters this manager can just look at one dashboard. His manager view shows everything, then he can drill down and filter to see each salesperson.
This feature shrinks your workload because you don’t have to make as many dashboards.
