The latest version of Dynamics GP was just released in October 2022 (v 18.5), with lots of new features and quality fixes (many of the new features are items existing customers wanted and voted on that use the Dynamics GP product everyday), so it is a huge win!

But for those who ask what the future of Dynamics GP looks like, Microsoft shows their dedication to the Dynamics GP product with their current Roadmap, showing dates well into the future, 2028 and beyond.

Here is the current Microsoft Dynamics GP Roadmap & Lifecycle:

Dynamics GP Roadmap & Lifecycle

Mainstream support for versions GP 2018 and GP 2018 R2 is ending 1/10/2023, so now is a great time to discuss upgrading if you are on or will be on an unsupported version. Our upgrade team is here to help answer any questions & discuss upgrade options.

Microsoft Dynamics GP is now under the Modern Lifecycle, meaning there will be more frequent updates to Microsoft Dynamics GP (January, June/July and October).

Microsoft is continuing adding new features and improving the solution based on direct feedback from users. Make sure to keep up-to-date on upgrades and use the latest version of Microsoft Dynamics GP so you continue to benefit from Microsoft’s Dynamics GP improvements. Stay tuned for more information on all of the new features available with the newest release, Dynamics GP 18.5
