The CAL Business Solutions team recently worked with a building supply company that had been using a legacy “green screen” software for 20+ years. Although it was customized to exactly fit their processes, it was increasingly difficult to support, had an old user interface and improvement options were limited. A few years ago they selected a new product but the implementation failed. So they were understandably cautious. This time they short listed 8 ERP products, did extensive due diligence, and selected Acumatica. They liked the technology platform, user interface and the fact that Acumatica is a pure cloud based solution.

The Acumatica implementation was a success and the company is happy because:

The new cloud based system can be accessed anytime, anywhere and will have a shorter learning curve for new employees.
CAL was able to customize Acumatica for their unique business requirements including “Units of Measure” and “Anticipated Discounts”.
They now have the flexibility to take advantage of modern new features such as Bluetooth credit card scanners.
