Acumatica has many features that make it user friendly. One of those features is the ability to view multiple windows using multiple tabs in your internet browser.
When you are on an Acumatica screen, right-click on an item in the left navigation menu and select the “Open in New Tab” option.
For example, this is helpful if you want to look back and forth at multiple support cases, or you want to compare several reports. Or you could open the Customer screen, then compare the details of multiple Cases while the customer contact screen is still open. All without shutting down any of the other windows.
This is similar to the feature in Salespad that allows you to have multiple windows open at the same time in tab format, except your Browser is doing the multi-tab work with Acumatica
In the screenshot below, three Case screens are open, the Business Account screen is open, and the Contact screen is open – all accessible by simply clicking on the appropriate tab.
It is time saving features like this that make us enjoy working in Acumatica.
