PanatrackerGP creates and updates transactions directly in GP without the need to implement a separate asset tracking database. Using mobile handheld computers, PanatrackerGP provides an interface to easily capture physical information for assets. The Add/Receive Asset transaction creates the Fixed Asset record in GP, capturing key details such as serial numbers and descriptions. This transaction offers the option to receive against a PO in GP for PO lines identified as a capital item. Both the receiving transaction and asset record are created directly in GP when submitted. The Update Asset transaction provides the ability to update physical information on the asset. Assign or re-assign location, custodian, structure, or Master Asset ID. The 15 User-definable fields for additional asset tracking within GP are also supported on both Add and Update transactions. The Validate Asset transaction provides the ability to complete a physical location inventory for assets. The Panatracker Transaction Logging provides a full history of transactions completed from the handheld.
