As of January 10 2023, we said bye to Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 & 2018 R2 mainstream support. Microsoft Extended support will be ending on January 11, 2028.
If you are currently using Microsoft Dynamics GP 2018 or 2018 R2, you will need to upgrade to Microsoft Dynamics GP 18.5 to receive any further regulatory updates, hotfixes, or Year End / Payroll /Tax updates.
Upgrading to the latest version of Dynamics GP will provide your company with tremendous benefits, a few reasons to upgrade are:
- Be on a fully supported version
- New Features – What’s New in Dynamics GP 18.5
- Stay on the new Microsoft Modern Lifestyle
- Receive current updates and Tax updates for Payroll
- Receive form Updates (i.e. 1099-NEC)
- Tighter security & better stability

CAL Business Solutions will continue to provide support for our Dynamics GP customers – even on old versions. But you should know that this could take us longer on older versions where we cannot use Microsoft as a resource if necessary.
