Acumatica has officially released artificial intelligence (AI) with its universal search. It looks at the natural language search that has been entered, analyzes the results and gets smarter and gives you better results based on how you interact with that page.
This means that inquiries made in the HELP menu in Acumatica tell the system what was useful and how to provide better help recommendations in the future.
So if you type in, “how to create a sales order” the system will push back some articles to you. This is a consumable list of steps for you to take in order to find whatever you have typed into that universal search.
Acumatica will recognize how long you spent on that page. It will analyze if you were clicking on the links, if you were interacting with the results. And over time, it will get more intelligent and constantly be giving you better search results based on that query that was typed in.
This is exciting because this is the first time that we’ve seen AI and machine learning in a shipping instance of Acumatica.
