Know a Company That Should Use Dynamics GP?
We know you are all gearing up for a GREAT 2011…we cannot believe that 2010 is almost over. It has been an exciting year at CAL. We were named the Microsoft Northeast Area Dynamics Partner of the Year Award 2010 as well as achieving Microsoft Dynamics President’s Club for the 7th time. We have also been focusing on getting our team certified for GP and are proud to announce that Brenda Willey is now a Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Specialist having passed 4 Dynamics GP certifications. Sue Conrad has also passed several of the certification tests as well as Jo Ann Flaum, our newest employee! We realize that many of you are still trying to recover from all of the economic upheavals from the last few years. We hope that 2010 is ending on a high note for you and that you are healthy, strong and successful both professionally and personally.
We look forward to working with you next year and for the many years to come.
Amber's Tips & Tricks
This month, the tip was written by Sue Conrad. With the new and improved Budgeting functionality of GP2010, we are excited about what is possible for you to accomplish. Sue’s tip actually will work if you are using an older version (9 or 10), however, there are some very exciting changes in Budgeting that we love in GP2010. These include: Combining Budgets, and Budget Transactions (these track changes to your finalized budget). Take a look at this tip, hope you like it.
Multi-Facility processing brings you the ability to process transactions from different corporate entities within a single company database.
With a comprehensive security layer, you can have your company securely work from one consolidated database. By allowing entities to share items, vendors, customers and GL accounts all in one place, Multi-Facility Processing enables you to streamline multi-entity transaction processing, minimize database administration costs, and attain a proactive account management approach.
Download the Microsoft White Paper “Strategies for Multi-Entity Environments- Approaches used to deploy Microsoft Dynamics GP for multi-entity clients” to learn more.
We have added a ton of new content.
