Highlights: Santa Fuel is a home fuel oil delivery and service company. CAL designed a custom purchase order procurement system with a .NET web front end for their service department. This allows them to initiate a PO request outside the accounting system which is automatically committed in Microsoft Dynamics GP. To eliminate double entry, CAL developed an automated process to import energy invoices for oil, diesel or propane from their front office system, match those invoices in the GP Purchase Order system then send those matched invoices to AP for payment. Santa also uses an integrated Vehicle/Equipment maintenance system developed by CAL.

CAL built an interface to their front office package that handles the invoice matching for wholesale bulk fuel pickup and integrates them into the Microsoft Dynamics GP receiving function. Once matched, open vouchers are created in Accounts Payable. This sophisticated invoice matching system eliminates substantial double entry time and errors.
