Opening and Closing Specific Transaction Windows for Each Fiscal Period

Highlights of Convergence 2011
CAL had 13 clients attend Convergence this year. Best New Features in Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 R2
Its last major release, Dynamics GP 2010, was released in April 2010 and this May brings the release of Dynamics GP 2010 R2. This release is very feature rich. Of all the new features, there are a few that really stand out and that you should know about.
- Business Analyzer – Business Analyzer is a new feature in GP 2010 that allows you to get more business intelligence out of your information. In R2, you can create report packages with predefined settings so that users can use the work independently.
- Even more Microsoft Word templates – Dynamics GP 2010 came with a lot of new Word templates but R2 has amped up this feature. The ready to use Word forms now include orders, invoices and returns.
- External Documents – One of the many Word templates won’t work for what you need? That’s ok because now you can replace your preprinted forms by taking any Report Writer report and converting it into a professional-looking external-facing document.
- List Performance Enhancements – With the use of external lists, people can now view and update information outside of GP – which frees up Power Users to spend their time in more productive ways.
Microsoft Dynamics GP 2010 R2 has many more features within Productivity, Operations, Service and IT that will enhance the value of this ERP software.
